The Lord has provided many learning opportunities to John in various ministries, such as junior high boys group, teaching bible studies, serving as a deacon, attending various missionary trips, and being involved with worship teams. John was ordained as a pastor in 2009.

Currently, John serves as one of the pastors at Jackson Creek Fellowship Church with a primary focus on worship. He has been married to his wife Jenna for eight years, and they are in the process of adopting a child from the Philippines.
